How signup and billing work

Every plan begins with a 14-day trial period. The subscription automatically begins when the 14-day trial period ends, unless you cancel. The billing portal manages payment methods, invoices, plan changes and cancellation.

  • Billing is per mailbox, per month. You are billed for the mailboxes CrowsNest monitors in your workspace— not for analyst seats.
  • Organizational account. Create your account and choose a company subdomain such as acme.flyingcloudtech.com.
  • Authorized connection. Have your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administrator approve the documented provider permissions and test the connection.
  • Selected monitoring scope. Choose the mailboxes and supported sources included in your workspace. Your monitored-mailbox count determines subscription quantity.
  • Secure payments via Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; Flying Cloud never stores payment information.

FAQs

What counts as a billable mailbox?

Mailboxes synced from your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 directory monitored by CrowsNest. Deactivated mailboxes stop counting when removed from your workspace.

Who can connect Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

CrowsNest is designed for organizational environments and requires an administrator who can approve the documented Google Workspace domain-wide delegation or Microsoft Entra ID application permissions. An analyst can create an account, but provider connection may require coordination with the organization’s workspace or identity administrator.

Does discovering directory mailboxes automatically make all of them billable?

No. Billing is based on the mailboxes selected for monitoring in the CrowsNest workspace. Review your monitored-mailbox scope and subscription quantity in workspace settings and the billing portal.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes. You can change your billing interval or plan from the Stripe billing portal in your workspace settings.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your subscription automatically begins for the plan you selected at signup. If payment fails, or if you cancel, your workspace shows a billing notice and scanning pauses until billing is restored. Your configuration is preserved.
